COBRA – As you mentioned Nirvikalpa Samadhi, this is ascension. (Note: Nirvikalpa, in Yoga, represents the highest state of Samadhi; in Buddhism, it represents the undifferentiated cognition based on the emptiness of all things, ultimately perceiving the highest truth intuitively.)
Ascension is when your self-awareness becomes so powerful that you can integrate all aspects of your personality. You shine a beam of light upon it and transform them with imperfect love, so that you no longer actually have a personality. You then dissolve all your lower bodies, including the physical body, the etheric body, the emotional body, and the spiritual body, and you are completely aligned with the divine spark of your self. Then you transcend all the laws of entropy; you can materialize or project an image of yourself onto the material plane. But you never again equate yourself with this physical body. You never again equate yourself with your thoughts or emotions. This is a brief explanation of ascension.
Aaron – What is the difference between ascension and enlightenment? Can enlightenment be called self-realization?
COBRA – Enlightenment is the moment your personality comes into contact with the truth. Ascension is the complete transformation of your personality into truth.
Richard – What’s the difference between an Ascended Master and an Enlightened Master?
COBRA – They’re basically the same, but there are some subtle differences. I won’t use the word “Master” because it’s too heavy. An Ascended Being is a being completely transcending the time continuum, no longer possessing a personal personality. An Enlightened Being has had this transcendental experience, but that experience isn’t fully stabilized within their personality.
Richard – How do Ascended Masters influence us?
COBRA – They mostly influence our consciousness. They inspire us to connect with our souls, sending us loving, supportive, and enlightening energy so we can become who we truly are.
EM: Is it a good idea to communicate with Ascended Masters, or even our Higher Self, in the way we interact with friends? For example, besides sharing hardships, we can also talk about funny things in life or joke with them, just like we do with real-life friends?
COBRA: Yes, you can communicate with them as if they were your friends.
EM: Does this kind of communication require some kind of bond?
COBRA: Yes. There is always a need of inner or heart connection while interacting with Ascended Beings.
COBRA: Ascended Beings improve the human condition in two ways. One is by strengthening their connection to the Presence of the Self, and the other is by improving their external living conditions. So both. There are currently no publicly appearing Ascended beings or fully enlightened Beings in the earthly reality. Ascended beings can communicate with everyone through soul-to-soul connections. They can also provide guidance and inspiration through everyone’s connection with the Divine Source. This connection with the Divine Source is the supreme guide to life for each individual. All external sources of information must be examined through one’s own connection with the Divine Source before they can be used.
